The Club
In 2025, Ibiza will welcome [UNVRS] (pronounced "Universe"), a new nightclub that will take the place of the legendary Privilege. The project is led by Yann Pissenem, creator of The Night League and other renowned Ibiza venues such as Ushuaïa, Hï Ibiza and Playa Soleil.
[UNVRS] presents itself as the first Hyperclub worldwide, uniting the grandeur of mass events with the elegance and exclusivity of a high-end nightclub. To announce its opening, an ingenious marketing strategy was used, including an alleged UFO sighting on the island, which turned out to be a publicity stunt that quickly went viral.
[UNVRS]'s capacity has not been officially revealed. However, given that it will be located in the former Privilege venue, known for being the largest club in the world with room for around 10,000 people, it is possible that [UNVRS] will have a comparable or even larger capacity.
The [UNVRS] club, which will be located in the former Privilege space in San Rafael, promises to revolutionize Ibiza nightlife with its futuristic design and “Hyperclub” concept. Although full details have not been revealed, the club’s interior is expected to include cutting-edge technology such as giant LED screens and advanced lighting systems, in addition to a space theme that will create an immersive atmosphere. It will also feature luxurious VIP areas and multi-functional spaces for special events.
[UNVRS] is anticipated to attract some of the world’s most famous DJs and artists, given Yann Pissenem’s track record with clubs such as Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, which have featured superstars such as David Guetta and Calvin Harris.
Furthermore, [UNVRS] could collaborate with luxury brands and renowned designers to create unique experiences within the club. It is also expected to host themed events and incorporate augmented and virtual reality technology to offer immersive experiences. The club is committed to sustainability, using renewable energy and minimising waste.
In short, [UNVRS] is set to become a key point of Ibiza's nightlife scene, combining innovation, luxury and technology to offer an unprecedented sensorial experience.
